The Role
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Malta office. Reporting to the <job title>, this role will be the cornerstone for all HR operations within Sway Gaming, focusing on employee relations, culture, engagement, and people initiatives.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to leadership and employees alike — ensuring a fair, engaging, and high-performing workplace aligned with our company values.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for all people-related matters within Sway Gaming’s Malta office.
Lead employee relations cases, providing guidance and resolution in line with company policies and Maltese employment law.
Champion company culture initiatives that strengthen engagement and belonging.
Support line managers with performance management, feedback processes, and team development.
Partner with leadership on organisational changes and employee communication strategies.
Oversee HR policies, procedures, and compliance within local operations.
Drive initiatives related to wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and talent development.
Work closely with the Group HR team to align local HR practices with broader group goals.
About You
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist, ideally within the iGaming or tech industry.
Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law and best practice in HR operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust across all levels of the business.
Passionate about fostering a positive company culture and improving the employee experience.
Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to navigate sensitive matters with discretion and fairness.
Confident working in a fast-paced, international environment.
